What's Your Update?

  .

History Detectives is a PBS series about the discovery, documentation and preservation of historic American artifacts and they are seeking story submissions for their sixth season. If you’ve got an object – anything that can be photographed – with a curious connection to American history, then they’d like to hear from you!

Please tell them about an item that you think may have played a starring role, or was just along for the ride, in yesterday’s newsworthy people, places or events:  blackouts or boycotts, inaugurations or integration, rockabilly or rap, Hollywood or the Hindenburg, and so on!

E-mail them a description of your object (digital photos are always helpful!) and include the key facts you already know, and what you hope to learn from their investigation. The information you provide will be used for production research purposes only. They will contact you if they are interested in learning more about your story.

Please submit questions or story ideas to: carolyn.weiss@liontv.usYou can learn more about the show by visiting the History Detectives Website.
